Mexico allocates $47.8 million to protect its citizens in the US
Consulate on Wheels in Anchorage,
May 12-14

BY SOL DE MEDIANOCHE

“Following the instructions of President Peña Nieto, the 50 consulates in the United States will take a special role as defenders of immigrants, in order to meet the needs for orientation and legal representation of Mexicans in the US,” said a statement from the Mexican Consulate in Seattle, dated February 3. This was published after the decision of the Mexican government to allocate $ 47.8 million to protect Mexican immigrants in the United States.

In the same document, the Consul announces that the next Consulate on Wheels in the city of Anchorage will take place from 12 to 14 May. And he encourages Mexicans to stay informed about the US-Mexico relationship through official sources, such as the social networks of the Mexican Consulate in Seattle: Twitter, @ConsulMexSEA; Facebook, Consulate of Mexico in Seattle.
