Alaska State Fair canceleD
May 23, 2020.
Last Friday the Board of Directors and the President of the Alaska State Fair,, Jerome Helter, reported the event has been cancelled due to the uncertainty generated by the coronavirus, a decision that was made using the information that is available today not in how the pandemic is expected to be in August, the month when the fair starts.
Cancellation is due to the inability to offer visitors a complete experience, as should the largest celebration of the state do, due to the phase 3 rules of economic reopening.
Finally, Helter mentioned that refunds to people who have purchased tickets for this event will be made.
