However, to be able to vote, you must first be registered. It’s a quick and simple process. Below, we explain the different ways you may register to vote in Alaska. 1. Firstly, the Online Voter Registration provides a quick and easy solution. You only need your Alaska driver’s license or a valid state ID to register or update your voter information. 2. Another option is to register in person. You can do this at an office of the Division of Elections or at a Voter Registration Agency in your area. These are some of the places where you can register: Division of Elections Offices, Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) Offices, Political Party Offices, and many others. Visiting any of these places will allow you to register or update your information directly with the help of available staff. 3. If you prefer the traditional method, you can also register to vote by sending a paper form. Print the form, fill it out, and sign it. Then, send your completed form by mail, fax, or as an email attachment to a Regional Election Office.
