Spanish Notary & Translation Services: Court Interpreter for Spanish Speakers in Legal Matters
by carlos matías
Grace Anderson (Spanish Notary) is one of the few certified court interpreters in Anchorage. She works with Spanish-speaking clients, major domestic and international companies, law firms, and the courts of Alaska and other states.
Grace Anderson has lived in Alaska for over forty years. She is the daughter of an Alaskan father and a Spanish mother. She was born in Torrevieja, Alicante (Spain), and her real name is María de las Gracias Anderson Santamaría. “But everyone calls me Grace.”
“Grace is, by far, the best interpreter in Anchorage. Her rates are reasonable, and she has extensive experience. Plus, she’s excellent with legal matters,” say verified online reviews about her.
“I came to the United States in 1969 because of my father, and I’ve lived in Anchorage for over forty years,” Grace tells SOL DE MEDIANOCHE. “I am very proud of my Spanish and Alaskan roots. As a certified interpreter, I translate official documents for clients from all over Central America, Mexico, the Caribbean (especially the Dominican Republic), Venezuela… The list of nationalities among my Spanish-speaking clients is long.”
“Courts in Alaska and other parts of the country, mainly Seattle (WA), as well as numerous law firms, request my services for depositions of Spanish-speaking witnesses and defendants, or to assist in plea negotiations.”
Grace has adapted well to Alaska’s extreme climate. But whenever she can, she travels to warmer climates, such as her hometown of Torrevieja in Spain and other places throughout the United States.
