“Project 2025,” Trump’s Disturbing “Plan” if He is Elected President
by carlos matías
Ending abortion rights nationwide, including in Alaska, would be one of Trump’s first actions if elected president. Others would be to end the Department of Education, repeal climate policies and a tougher immigration policy.
Mobilizing government agencies against pregnancy termination and banning abortion pills nationwide, even in states that protect abortion rights, such as Alaska, is on the GOP’s roadmap, along with putting civil liberties at the service of conservative interests, scaling back NATO in Europe, ignoring Climate Change, and toughening its immigration policy.
If Donald Trump were to return to the White House he would implement “Project 2025,” leaving no doubt as to how long it would take him to implement it after taking office on Monday, January 20, 2025.
The nearly 1,000-page “Project 2025” was prepared for Trump by the Heritage Foundation, an influential reactionary group created in 1973 by Paul Weyrich Edwin Feulner and Joseph Coors.
The Washington-based Heritage Foundation is backed by more than 100 ultra-conservative organizations and headed by Barb Van Andel-Gaby, co-owner of the Amway company, which is the subject of multiple “pyramid scheme” allegations. Other Heritage Foundation leaders have declared that they will respect the results of the next presidential election “if the Democrats do not cheat.” But if, in their opinion, they do (as they say they did in 2020), they will not rule out any countermeasures, “including violence.”
