More than 100 people have recovered from COVID-19 in Alaska,
Department of Health announces new cases

The Alaska Department of Health and Social Services confirmed on Wednesday, April 15, 2020, that there are currently 106 people recovered from COVID-19 in the state.
 
Eight new cases of the coronavirus were also recorded.  To date the total number of cases in Alaska is 293, the total number of deaths statewide is nine and the total number of hospitalizations is 34.
 
The first case of COVID-19 in Nome was also announced this week.
