According to a new publication by the Department of Health and Social Services on Friday, April 17, 2020, Alaska has added nine more positive cases of Covid-19, for a total of 309, including nine deaths across the state. The latest report states that around 128 people have recovered, the total number of hospitalizations confirmed as Coronavirus-related is 36, however there are currently 47 people hospitalized who tested positive for COVID-19 or are under investigation. The Department of Health and Social Services also reported that, as of Thursday, April 16, 2020, at least 9,450 tests have been conducted in the state, of which 6,639 have been analyzed in commercial laboratories, 2,055 in the Public Health laboratory and 756 in hospitals. by Sol de Medianoche |
